Everything you need in beautiful Jordaan

The Room is in a perfect location to discover Amsterdam. In the near you also have all what you Need (Museums, Restaurants, Albert Heijn,..) The Room was clean and the Bathroom looked like new. We are happy that we choose it :) P.s We loved the Breakfast!

Perfect, quiet Jordaan location will enhance any stay to Amsterdam.

Location, location, location...Jordaan is full of restaurants, bars, cafes--everything convenient/useful for travelers to Amsterdam is blocks, sometimes only steps, away. It is very quiet, close to tram stops, and it's a nice walking area, picturesque streets and canals all around. Breakfast is taken at a local cafe (2 min. walk), each lodger receives a 10 euro voucher which is enough for coffee, OJ, and a croissant. Of course you may order more (and pay the difference) if you desire.The hosts, Heine and Roulk, are friendly and very helpful, they live on the two floors above the room in which we stayed, so they are available for questions or help, if it's needed. I liked that they had washcloths in the bathroom, which isn't common to find in Europe. There is also a large shower AND a bathtub (which we didn't use, but might be important/useful to some people). Overall, it was an excellent 5 night stay.

Pre-paying for a non-refundable reservation always makes me a little nervous, but the owners are very honest and up front. If you are sure about your trip, reserve this property! For sure, next time we are in Amsterdam, we will book it.

Excellent stay in the Jordaan area

We were pleasantly surprised by this B&B. Normaly we stay in hotels, but this B&B exceeded our expectations. For us it was like staying in a family member's house, but with all the privacy of your own space. We struggled a bit to find the B&B, but once we got there, the owner was friendly and welcoming. We really liked being on the second floor and with the windows open listen to the chatter of people in restaurants on the street. We had no problem sleeping, the bed was great. We were provided breackfast vouchers (10 euro per person) to a restaurant two blocks away which was also excellent. The daily fruit allocation by the owner was a nice touch and very much appreciated by us. Very nice location, close to the canal belt.

Amsterdam accomodation/restaurants are generally very expensive. Especially when your currency is 16 to 1 euro ...
